Amazing place Maria Lisboa, authentic Portuguese in the heart of Malaga! The chef come to greet us and her suggestions were perfect for my boys. They clean the plates up Definitely recommend this place for a family with children. We will be back as my boys asked for carrot soup and the chef said “yes no problem”!!! This has quickly become our favorite cafe in the greater Malaga area. On our first visit we sat on the patio in the sun and had pastel de natas and a cinnamon pastry Maria says is her favorite (so good!). Today we sat inside the cozy interior and had more pastel de natas that were taken out of the oven while we were working and so incredibly fresh and delicious. It’s a great place to hang out or get some work done. Maria herself makes all the food and coffee. Highly recommend!!

Really nice food. Really small shop with limited sitting in a casual setting. Family atmosphere! The sangria was probably the best we had in around our 10 days of touring in Madrid, Mallorca , Marbella and Malaga . It has real fruits inside with a generous size glass. Food is very good , very fresh ingredient for the salad ! And the Cod (Bacalao A Bras) was extremely tasteful with good mix of onion, potato and cod! Better make a reservation first or go early. Small shop.

Very popular online with a 4.9 review at time of writing. The staff were pleasant and the food was different for certain. We had three mixed croquettes which were lovely. My partner had a fish lasagne with cod potatoes and vegetables which has nice. My meal I did not like. A sandwich containing ham and two types of sausage. Covered in melted sauce. It came with a thin spicy yellow sauce. This made the bread soggy. It's different , try it out. Staff were attentive friendly and quick.

I love this little place! The food and service are excellent. Spotlessly clean and Maria herself is so lovely. Her home baked goods are fabulous. Empanadas, croquetas, pasteles. Her little custard tarts are truly to die for! Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or afternoon snacks.
